POUYUENJI began with tea, rooted in a profound reverence for the land and time. Founded by a Taiwanese entrepreneur and stepping from Taiwan onto the global stage, we have always believed that tea is a way to understand a place, its culture, and its way of life.
POUYUENJI focuses on varied terroirs of Taiwan, journeying from north to south and from rolling hills to high mountains in search of exceptional teas shaped by the land. Guided by altitude, climate, and season, we explore how distinct environments define the character of each leaf. Through diverse processing methods and time-honored craft, we see how tea artisans listen to their gardens and seasonal harvests—translating nature’s story into the nuanced flavors of every pour.
