This January, we held the first Wancha Tea Festival—an immersive celebration of tea culture.
With 210 tea gatherings, 77 teas, and 11 masterclasses and salons led by Taiwanese and Japanese experts, we took visitors on a journey from Tokyo to Darjeeling, from Sun Moon Lake to Japan’s Mie Prefecture, and from mountain peaks to rolling hills.
The second Wancha Tea Festival is coming December 11–13!
This year’s theme is “Connecting Asia.” Expanded to three days, the festival will bring tea artisans from Japan and Korea to Miaoli for the first time, alongside their Taiwanese counterparts.
From masterclasses and artisan salons to outdoor tea gatherings, tea-ware exhibitions, and a lifestyle market, we will bring tradition into conversation with the contemporary—and people from different places together over a cup of tea.
This time, we are opening applications for market exhibitors.
If you have a brand, a craft, or a way of life you would love to share, we invite you to join us.
Come to Miaoli for three days dedicated to tea, lifestyle, and Asian culture.
📣 Market applications close October 20.
